Love my HBCU. NCCU Law over here. I went to East Carolina University for undergrad and enjoyed it. However, there is something about an HBCU, the collective "we" that I got at Central, that was not present at ECU. I run with a bunch of Central Law alums and NC A&T alums. No cooler people.

I went to Grambling and every year we have a new president and folks stealing money; and the school has not progressed. Also, while I was in college Texas Southern had a big money problem with Priscilla Dean Slade stealing money and now she's working at Jackson State University. I still talk to my old chemistry professor and we both say these nikkas stealing the money and doing harm to these universities are really plants. If you look at Priscilla Dean Slade at Texas Southern she stole more than $650,000 of federal government money; because TSU is a public school. She only received 10 years of deferred adjudication, repayment of $127,672.18 to the school, and 400 hours of community service; any other time a black person steals government money you get fed time.

Another person named Quintin F. Wiggins; was working with Priscilla Dean Slade and was sentence to 10 years in prison. Priscilla Slade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

These people working at HBCU's stealing money and getting no jail time; there informants and plants by whites.
:jbhmm: Hmmm, black institutions meant for the betterment of black people are being hampered across America by suspected government plants in black face..sounds similar to the idea that western governments assign puppets to various nations across Africa whose main job is to then steal and destroy...either that or black people like stealing from other black people so they can buy shyt they didn't need while other races advance further ahead as a direct result of their actions....I feel like it might be a mixture of the two...

I just see strange parallels between Africa's infamous corruption culture and this story though...but the thing is we haven't been in Africa for hundreds of years :jbhmm: the Caribbean governments are notoriously corrupt too...:jbhmm:.................I've come to the conclusion that we are without a doubt our own worst enemy.

As a FAMU alumni making 6 figues yeah the financial aid department can be annoying like getting net checks late. But HBCUS admit and give a lot a people a chance at college that honestly don't have the discipline and responsibly for school so when they fukk up they want to soley blame the school when they're were just as if not more trifling concerning their finances and grades.

As for FAMU our enrollment this year is around 11,000, were building new dorms and renovating old dorms and just finished our part 2 gym facility.
This is part 1

We used to have our graduation at the convention center like FSU but now hosts graduation in this gymnasium. I graduated in this gym.

New FAMU Village student housing (I graduated in 2012 and these weren't built then)

And last but not least going to pool parties with no cacs

So yeah we're not FSU you guys have more money/students/alumni but we're not some raggedy school like the Tallahassee media and other like to pretend. Yeah we got problems but let me tell you step foot on FAMU campus and lack of "spirit" or school "pride" from the student body isn't one of them. HBCUS aren't for everyone but they still have a place. I went to majority White schools my entire life until college and going to an HBCU was like a breath of fresh air for me personally :yeshrug:. Also for an HBCU our alumni associations are pretty good.
No doubt fam:salute:.

:russ: I don't go to FSU though. I'm just speaking from my surroundings and what my former peers tell me who go to Famu currently.
