These are the top 10 U.S. baccalaureate-origin institutions of Black S&E doctorate recipients:
  1. Howard University (HBCU)
  2. Spelman College (HBCU)
  3. FL A&M University (HBCU)

No offense but this might be the dumbest no brainer stat i seen or heard

HBCUs shouldn't have the highest black graduation rates when fewer blacks make up a percentage of PWIs as a whole. It should be easier for PWIs to have high black graduation rates. By and large this isn't true though: PWIs have lower black graduate rates despite having lower numbers of black students in general. So HBCUs are a way better choice for blacks looking to graduate.

Moving on, black students shouldn't feel more academic and job support support at HBCUs per se than PWIs. The fact black students feel better supported at HBCUs and do better after they graduate is proof blacks should aim to go to HBCUs in general. From my own experience it's way easier and fun to study math/science when one has like-minded people of the same group around you. Blacks can only find that at HBCUs.
