Wayne is the black Eminem in that hes got a generation of loyal fans that grew up off him in the 00s.

Whole south and midwest and milenials grew up off him so this is the not surprsing at all. Plus the Carter V took on this mythological status being held up so people were ready to support.

Pretty much. The nostalgia of long time stans + detractors that may be curious has the numbers just as they should be

Nah before the case was over I definitely thought Carter 5 was going to flop. Those mixtapes he was putting out people weren't really checking for at all. I changed my tune when he announced it. The buzz for it was way crazy. 475k still exceeds my expectations. I was thinking 250k which would have still been good. 110k for Logic is a flop though.

Logic usually does these type of numbers though, especially for stuff he just puts out there.

The Incredible True Story = 135K
Bobby Tarantino = 19K
Everybody = 247K (and let's not forget, the following week this shyt dropped 96% to 8K - still went Plat though)
Bobby Tarantino II = 119K
YSIV = 110K?
