I was watching a "first drive" video today about this, and I was confused as hell at the numbers.

I guess they figure with all the aftermarket/factory shops tuning Mustangs, If people want more power from their V8's, they can always jump into a Roush, Saleen, or Shelby.

I have a strong feeling the official Shelby version for this model is gonna bring some God-like numbers.

GT350 SUPPOSED TO TOP THE HELLCAT BY 40 HP. THE SUPER SNAKES WERE IN THE 800'S. THE 2014 IS FULLY CAPABLE OF TOPPING HELLCAT NUMBERS.

GONNA MAKE THE PREDICTION NOW.

FORD WILL DROP SPEAK FOR GT350 OR WHATEVER THEY END UP CALLING IT RIGHT AFTER HELLCAT RELEASE DATE.

too bad most people wont be able to afford a mustang that looks like this... special rims, looks like a kit on it, the color of the leather inside... if the regular gt is at 34/35k this shyt probably 45k+

That's just the regular GT with the Performance Package. All the mustangs with PP gets the Black rims. You can get out the door looking like this for under $40k...

got a 2006 cst-v that will blow this horse out the water. v8 6.0 400HP. thats muscle. can easily make 500 with minor mods. got it a couple years ago for 14K had 85K miles on it

why anybody would cop a v6 mustang is beyond my comprehension. and that mustang above me is ugly as fukk.

No its not. Look at the tan leather seats that's not an option for the reg GTs. Regular gts get cloth seats. Also the rims are an upgrade not the regular black rims u get on the gt package

The quote for that car is $39,240 before taxes and title. that's more than the challenger RT scat pack which is this:

it has 50 more hp, bigger/better rims, better brakes, a body kit etc. and just a notch below the SRT (which would only be 5-6k more than that mustang build)

with that said that black mustang is the best looking mustang i've seen with the new body style. just these prices are i'm gona see a lot of crackers on the road with the v6s or stock gt's acting like dikk heads

YEAH IT IS JUST A PERFORMANCE PACKAGE GT. LEATHER SEATS AND BLACK RIMS COME IN THAT PACKAGE.

I CHECKED. THAT'S THE RED SADDLE COLOR SCHEME. THAT'S STANDARD ON THE GT.

inflation, seems like all the new cars have taken atleast a $3K jump in price no matter the make/model. Using the X-Plan thru my company, i can get that Mustang for ~$38K. Wait a few months for the excitement to die down, you probably get get it cheaper than that...
