been hearing more and more about it from other people and the news has been quiet as well. i know at the top of the year, there were predictions that it would happen in march but it didn't luckily. any advice on how to prepare before it happens?

Technically, recessions don't just "happen". There are domino effects within commodities, housing, or the financial sector that precede a recession. Remember that Lehman Brothers, Fannie mae, and others got fukked up by the subprime loans which lead to government intervention.HUGE implications. Then Bear Stearns flat out collapsed. When a recession comes, there is ripple effects of bullshyt that drop before it. Don't be shocked if tariffs, a trade war, and a spike in commodities prices take place within a year and shyt starts getting real.
Again, its never like "Oh, we will have a recession in March." Nah, there are a thousand cuts and then the economy bleeds out "suddenly." When you see the markets drop and it becomes national news, thats when you know what time it is. It NEVER sneaks up on people.

I still give it a couple of years, this time we will be hit with small increments of it. The first thing that we'll see, amount of houses on the market etc. RN we are only seeing the beginning of it

Have stocks tumbled? Oil prices have they spiked or collapsed? It will take time. Some big company going bankrupt that is tied into the financial markets or even a couple state bankruptcies.The system is basically built to live on shaky ground, so the impending housing and student loan corrections have to have dramatic effects for it to happen. Unfortunately, things are not bad enough for
a recession as of yet. People are still losing their livelihoods are per normal, and it doesn't require market corrections to spark that.

Unless they get this war poppin there's something big coming. There's not enough sustainable jobs even for college educated people.
