He's been underwhelming but its a long season. Got paid then came into camp out of shape :martin:. Honestly, the offensive talent of Miami is overstated.

The overall issue is the lack of shooting this team has...especially among the starters. It makes it that much harder to create quality offense while you figure out how to play together. 3 point shooting is the cure-all for poor synergy.

Luckily they're really good defensively

slow pace has nothing to do with him not being able to knock down open shots and missing countless layups.

but, he was definitely overrated....I don't even care about the contract, its the draft picks that make me :martin:

He's definitely NOT a one-trick pony. Like I've mentioned in the past, sharing shots with three other players that need touches and playing at a slow pace is hindering the impact he has on the team. There's hardly anyone to run with him on the break or create chaos as soon as he enters the halfcourt. It's simply a case of contrasting styles not being able to mesh and he's the odd one out with every other starter wanting to play at a slower pace.

european players are the laziest players in the nba, they get that fat contract and stop giving a fukk, it's because the european basketball system revolves too much on what the coach tells them to do rather than working hard individually, there is no stimulus.
That's why so many european drafted players get out of the league in few years, they are fukking lazy and barely any of them are naturally gifted.

But I thought Dragic was one of the harder working ones from euro players

Pay Dragic 80 mil and give up 2 1st rounder to bring the ball up and hand it off to Wade, brehs. Dragic is a player that thrives in the open court. He should of gone to Dallas. If Dallas wasn't so impatient, they could of had Dragic for the same package that got them Rondo.

That's where I wanted Dragic to go last season, they would've been a legit title contender with him. We probably would've seen one of the greatest offenses in the modern era too.

It's still early but this isnt looking like a good deal at all. Cant be mad at Goran for taking the money but you can be for the Heat offering it to him.

He thrived in a run and gun system where he had the green light and shooters around the arc, including his center, which opened up the floor for oppurtunities at the basket.

Now he's got more ball-dominant players to share w/ (he's 5th in fga/game on the team), not a lot of outside shooting and Whiteside cloggin up the middle. Plus supposedly dealing w some personal shyt w his family.

I dont know why he'd want to go to Miami after his complaints about Phoenix.
