He thrived in a run and gun system where he had the green light and shooters around the arc, including his center, which opened up the floor for oppurtunities at the basket.

Now he's got more ball-dominant players to share w/ (he's 5th in fga/game on the team), not a lot of outside shooting and Whiteside cloggin up the middle. Plus supposedly dealing w some personal shyt w his family.

I dont know why he'd want to go to Miami after his complaints about Phoenix.
Sounds like his agent was all in his ear.

The city of Miami; talent, and money are the reasons Goran signed last summer.

After giving up multiple 1st rounders for him, the team had no choice but to re-sign him at market value.

If he didnt get that contract from the Heat, someone else gives it to him, and in the end Miami is still stuck with a gaping hole at PG. You give up 2 future 1st rounders for a 3-month rental?

My wife was just :umad: me the other day because I was on the heat bandwagon...i even went so far as to say they might have the best starting 5 in the nba if you consider the sum of the parts and not the individual players :damn:

Dragic has been horrible...I made that statement about the heat based on his shooting and his ability to get to the rim whenever he wanted and he hasn't done either all year :damn:
We're still 10-5 and top 3 in the East(potentially Top 2 after tonight).

He's been underwhelming but its a long season. Got paid then came into camp out of shape :martin:. Honestly, the offensive talent of Miami is overstated.

The overall issue is the lack of shooting this team has...especially among the starters. It makes it that much harder to create quality offense while you figure out how to play together. 3 point shooting is the cure-all for poor synergy.

Luckily they're really good defensively
I don't think our offensive talent is overstated at all. Like you said, the only thing we really lack offensively is a consistent three point threat. We have a great collection of playmakers, cutters, big men who can bang, big men who spread the floor, almost three deep at every position, we just need to develop our young guys(Josh Richardson could be that guy) into 3&D players.
