Here's one of many reasons:

Plus the fact that he hangs with racist friends.

wow, I see a lot of yall have drank the kool aid for this cat...he's not gonna be a good pro qb...he has decent arm strength, but he's not that accurate...all he's doing right now is running around and then throwing it up to the biggest guy on the field....but cause of the following he has, i'm sure someone will take him in the 1st round like tebow...

on a side note: if anything, evans stock is on the rise cause he's making people think johnny is a legit pro qb prospect

dude is frail as fukk, hes gonna get killed out there if he runs alot and he wont be that good if he tries to be a pocket passer

i would stay away from him in the 1st and maybe even the 2nd round depending on who is still on the board

honestly i probably would draft Aaron Murray over him

Dude might be small but no way in hell is he some weak ass dude. I'm willing to bet he's on of the strongest players on A&M's team. Look at that play against Bama. Xzavier dikkson(6'3" 265) had dude by the collar and he could not Bring dude down, I'm sure he's strong as shyt.

based on what ? what cant he do at a pro level ?

:snoop:

tell me why he has no future in pro football?

He's too small. His arm isn't big enough and/or accurate enough. If you're gonna lack a big arm, you'd better be balls on accurate like Brees. He's not. And sandlot football doesn't work in the NFL. We'll see how much running around he does when 300 pound d-linemen run 4.7s and would love to make SC by plastering the lil guy with the big bulls eye on his back.. And I know the kid just likes to have fun but there's a level of maturity necessary to be a franchise QB and he's behind the curve when it comes to that as well.

I'm sure he'll get drafted. And because of who he is, he'll probably get a chance to play. But I promise you that opportunity won't amount to much.

Johnny Manziel is the truth. Id currently take him over the starting (let alone backup) QBs that play for the following teams RIGHT NOW:

Bills
Browns
Bucs
Vikings
Cardinals
Texans
JAguars

Dude is a worth a first round pick...far from a Tim Tebow, Tebow couldnt and still cant throw the ball

Dude plays in the SEC home of the 300lb lineman that runs 4.7's and as far as his arm strength I don't know what yall are talking about lot of great QB's in the league without cannons for arms. *Cough* Peyton *Cough* that are exceptional players. Teddy B better. But he's right up there with those other guys you all are mentioning. I think this will be a legit QB class.

A defensive lineman (defensive personnel in general) doesn't reach full maturity until he's years into the NFL. Mid 20s to early 30s is the prime period for a defensive lineman in the league usually. Had time to adjust to the speed, and quick as hell on a bigger frame than what they had in college. Technique down pat and has seen most of what a OL will throw at them. He has a long way to go to be a pro QB. I believe somebody will give him a chance, but we'll see how it develops. There's been many a hyped QB in college to fail in the NFL while the guy from small town University or Arena league creates his own path.

Because he's arrogant and undisciplined. :skip:

People really overlook his discipline like it's nothing big. He makes a lot of dumb ass decisions. You can't do that backyard football toss it up shyt like he tends to do at A&M.

He'll need the right system and team to work. He won't be like any of the other QBs (Mariota, Teddy, Tahj) and be able to translate into the pros whether it's spread or pro style. Sumlin is the perfect coach and the right system for his skillset.

That's cool too. and maybe you are right. But dudes are usually fastest in college. and as for the hype. I don't see it at the NFL level. You have people saying he's a 1st rounder and some saying he's a day two pick. some say 3rd rounder, There isn't a general consensus on him at the next level. But despite everything leading up to the season he got BETTER. I'm a be honest I was like dude is going to struggle. and generally not be the same player. He's better now. I see him being good. in the NFL will he be elite. Maybe not but there are only like 5 elite players at the QB position in the league at any give time anyway. Can he be good as Matt Schaub? he might. Drew Brees Nah. But he'll be good.

He doesn't make ALOT of anything but Big plays. YES he will have to dial that shyt back. But he ain't the human TO machine either.

.

Says who? Eli Manning has made a career and won two SBs doing just that. It's a different era where DBs cant even breathe on a WR w/o getting flagged. You also have 6'2+ WRs being guarded by 5'11 corners....I'd rather a QB throw it up and hope for the WR to make a play than dinkin and day.

DB's got wayyyy better balls skills in the league than SEC and they're making Eli pay for that shyt when he does throw it up....PLUS when he did win his 2 super bowls he only threw it up wild like that once to David Tyree.....and another time to Manningham on the sideline that was :ohlawd: more than backyard football.
