Datone Jones is the pick in Round 1

. I love Franklin...not all that huge on Lacy, though I read some ppl from inside Bama that said they thought he had more ability than both Ingram and Richardson, so we'll see.In the draft thread, I voiced how disappointed I was that we took Lacy instead of Franklin, and we ended getting both. I just think that Franklin's ability to catch out of the backfield will net him more playing time. Gonna be interesting seeing the battles at RB in camp. Gotta figure Starks and Green aren't gonna be here much longer.I like Jones too. Word his they don't expect him to put on much more weight, as they think he's strong enough to hold up, and if he is, he'll be huge for us up front.
Also, as far as Charles Johnson goes, I read that he has "Julio Jones" measurables. Umm, yes please. Who knows if he's gonna work out or not, but the last time we had someone with that kind of ability, Javon Walker was destroying secondaries.

Taylor is taking a predraft visit to Green Bay on Monday, he said. He’s also visited Oakland and Dallas. A Packers scout attended his pro day, with Taylor running in 5.35 seconds and putting up 31 reps on the bench.
Taylor (6-3, 324) started 47 games at right guard for the Cowboys. He was first-team all-Big 12 on the field and academically as a senior. His intelligence came through in playing for three offensive coordinators. During those final three seasons, he did not allow a sack, including dominating Purdue’s projected first-round pick, Kawaan Short, in the bowl game. Short finished with one tackle and one sack — which he got after switching sides in the second half.
“It was a good accomplishment because we threw the ball a lot, so not to give up a sack is something I pride myself on,” Taylor said. “I never want to get my quarterback sacked.”
Taylor said the scouts he’s talked to consider him a Day 3 prospect. While he’s played only right guard, he also served as the team’s backup center.
“They like my style of play,” he said. “I’m a real balanced person. I’m able to run block and pass pro pretty good. I’m more of a power run-type guy.”
SUMMARY - A versatile and productive tight end at Ohio State, Stoneburner will likely need to carve out a role as a backup tight end, H-back and fullback. With good height, deceptive speed and soft hands, Stoneburner has the short area receiving skills to contribute catching passes in the NFL. While he is a good positional run blocker, he will need to be more aggressive on run blocks to be effective as an in-line blocker in the NFL. After being arrested prior to his senior season, Stoneburner will need to handle the interview process well to ease any concerns that teams may have. Overall, I do not expect Stoneburner to be an early draft pick, but in the later rounds he should be picked. He would be most effective going to a team with an elite receiving tight end and a creative offensive coordinator, where he would not be asked to make big plays as a receiver and could use his versatility to line up in a different spots to contribute as a backup tight end / H-back.
The Green Bay Packers have made the decision to move on without inside linebacker Desmond Bishop.
Bishop, 28, spoke with Packers general manager Ted Thompson on Monday, who told him of the organization's intention to release him from the four-year, $19-million extension he signed in January 2011. The Packers announced the move late Monday afternoon.
It was reported last week that the Packers were looking to either restructure Bishop’s deal or to release the fifth-year veteran. Because Bishop has at least four accrued seasons, he immediately becomes a street free agent.
Bishop confirmed his first visit will be with the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday and said several other teams have shown interest.
brehs....
I don't fukkn get it yo. WHY THE fukk IS AJ STILL ON THIS TEAM

Yea this has to be an insider move as in TT isn't fully telling us the story or Bishop's injury is worse then what he says. I believe it's the latter. Bishop says he's 100% but im pretty sure TT has doctors telling him otherwise. It's smart if Bishop plays elsewhere and re-injures himself. This move just seems odd to me even for TT. Something isn't being said for a reason
Bishop was our best ILB
Our depth at LB is shakyI don't get TT and his ridiculous theory in releasing STARTERS though.
Like I get it if this was an injury plagued guy, who you could never depend on. This was the hit against cullen jenkins. But even THEN, you don't deplete an already depleted position.
He's done this to 3 straight MLB's. and AJ is STILL there. So what if he's never injured. Him on the field is 10 on 11 ball.
