:dame: Nah I'm legit trying to glo up. Been wanting to do this for a few years and haven't been able to. I'm going for wide receiver. I'm still confident I have a shot at playing college football/basketball so if I can get a year in at least If I walk on I have highlights to show coaches

Alright. What you should do is download myfitnesspal app and it can tell you how much to nees to eat to gain. Since your on a budget and in highschool; chicken will be your best friend, eggs, oatmeal and it's cheap, also you can buy a burger, but just eat the meat and veggies, no bread. I tried to walk on when I was in college as a inside linebacker; so what you need to focus on is building size (mass) and density to your muscle so you can take a hit.

Since you said you already play basketball; basketball muscle is different than football muscle; you have to build that dense muscle. With building dense muscle and tying to get big (mass) at the same time; what you should do is lift high reps 12-15 with medium weight, we call them burnouts to get mass. To get size (density) you lift heavy for 3-5 reps.

Back in my football days what I use to do; I worked out high reps for mass 4 days and the 5th day I did my density work out, where I would lift all my heavy low rep weights (call that max day). Check out this link from bodybuilding.com for different exercises; so you don't get bored

You need lots of meat in your diet. Start eating rice and spaghetti/pasta and bread more often.

I really don't see how anyone can struggle to put on weight. its the easiest thing in the world.

So to keep it short and simple, I'm trying to gain muscle because I'm in the process of changing my life. Not sure how much I weigh now because I don't have a scale in handy but last time I weighed myself 3 months ago I was 156. My goal is to gain at least 25 pounds by start of senior year because I plan to join the football team.

Looking for a consistent diet that will help me reach my goal, suggestions of workouts I should do and tips on how to save money on food if I can't afford to buy a bunch of food and ish. Alternate diets would be help too
Tren, test, and Neely Fuller.

That's all you need to get your weight up.

This is the most honest post you will read in this thread.

This is the only post I will make on this subject.

I'm around the same weight, and I'm 5'11. Gaining weight is something I always wanted to do since middle school, so I'm pretty serious about it now as an adult. I'm trying to get at least to 185 by April. Here's what I did to start : I torrented Body Beast and bought the equipment ( bench, weights, bar ) for under 100 bucks from Amazon. Also get Anthony Ellis' book. First because he's a brother, and secondly because he teaches you how to gain 30 pounds of weight in three months. Book has gotta pretty solid reviews.

If you dont want to get Body Beast, google stronglifts. That's good too. GOMAD is seriously cheat mode, but I couldnt handle it. What I did instead though is put milk into my shakes. They say we need at least 3,000 calories a day to gain. Good luck getting someone who rarely ate all his life to do that. Instead, I make a 1000 calories shake(oatmeal, whey, milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, peanut butter, honey) and drink that twice a day. Then eating for the rest of the calories is the easy part.

If you wanna bulk, you gotta make your own food. Period. Dirty bulking will waste your time and sap your energy. Go to youtube. Learn how to make chicken breasts and steaks if you have to. Buy a crockpot and a rice cooker. I get those frozen microwavable veggies and they've been a lifesaver. It's easy, man.

Love this nicca. Real and straight to the point. I wouldn't suggest Tren since that can kill Cardio. But I rather suggest Test and Dbol as a simple stack.

Gaining weight and gaining quality lean muscle mass are two different topics

What type of weight gain did you get? Fat? What else were you eating with the GOMAD?

Imma save you some time.

If you scour the net about bulking up, you'll find that everybody who bulks basically eats the same twelve things.

Chicken breasts
Brown rice
Salmon
Lean cuts of beef
Broccoli
Spinach
Eggs
Sweet potatoes
Bananas
Peanut butter
Whey Protein
Milk

There's some variation in it but you basically need to eat this in the right ratios and give yourself a 500 calorie surplus.
Lift heavy, drink a lot of water and eat the above and you will gain lean muscle.

-Take in 1gram protein per lb of bodyweight daily.

-Hit the gym consistently

-profit?

Diet- want to gain weight? Eat more than you have. Lose weight? Eat less than you have. Just focus on that daily protein while working out multiple times a week
