Not to be insulting or sarcastic, im being genuine when i ask this, but what makes the word of God any more legit than the word of Allah, or the word of Abraham? U gotta see it from my perspective, Its very hard to put faith in one religion when there are many others, with millions of followers, and many of them have just as strong of a faith in their respective religion as u do in yours.

It was just advice, you're free to follow what's best for you and no one can judge.

Speaking from my own experience, as i have been for many years into some African religions like candomble and umbanda, in the end i only see the truth through the word of God accepting Christ as Savior. But it is that, faith, although the message is the same God appears to each of us in a different way because we are different.

You already dead you just don't know it. Your body exists because yourl Soul allows it to exist but once the soul is done with this physical vessel, you experience physical death, so technically this body is already dead.

Now reason why you're scared of death is because you're attached to this world and to truly experience bliss is to live life in detachment.
