Not to be insulting or sarcastic, im being genuine when i ask this, but what makes the word of God any more legit than the word of Allah, or the word of Abraham?

The resurrection of Christ.

But anyhow, if there is no afterlife, there is no purpose or reason for your existence and your life has no objective meaning.

Dolphins don't wonder what happens after they die, why should you?

death is basically the same as sleeping tbh, close your eyes now for 5 seconds, thats what the death zone looks like.

That's complete and utter nonsense. Death is not the same as sleeping. Your brain is still active as well as your bodily functions when you sleep.

YOU still exist.

Death is the cessation of ALL functionality. The end of your existence. The utter destruction of all the information that makes you YOU.

"Man was born to die" (c) one of my freestyle lyrics from the early 2000s

Ain't shyt to be scared of. My only fear is dying TOO EARLY. Thinking you going die in your 80s then finding out you're actually going die at 38 would completely change the context of this thought exercise imo

most of my family members live into their late 80s/early 90s it seems
I'm in my 30s and have NEVER been to an impactful funeral because every body in my family still alive. I think when the people in my grandma generation start dying i'll have to reevaluate my own morality after witnessing people i knew on that level finally start dying :lupe:

Every human will taste death now and the future.

It's a inevitability you have to get used to. :manny:

I find these cacs looking for immortality to be :pachaha:
You ain't gonna take those billions to wherever you're going next.

Only fukkery is if you die too early. :aicmon:

I don't mind dying when gets to a stage I can't take care of myself anymore. :wow:

I'm sure most people would have liked to have lived longer but it is what it is end of the day. :manny:

Whether you would like to live longer or not is irrelevant since there's no reason for you to exist.

You are an accident of time + matter + chance and at the end of your existence there is nothing.
