I read an article around the time uc3 came out and naughty dog said that they planned the uncharted series to be a long running one and that it wouldn't Drake as main forever but other characters connected to him. I'm gonna look for it now.

Every game nowadays has freedom though. Not really what the Uncharted series is about, or what it does well.

Porting TLOU to PS4 helped Uncharted 4 development
- Small team working on it since U3 development ended, half the team moved to U4 after TLOU and the rest after Left Behind
