I'm just here to laugh at Pat Bev who:

1. Talked ALL THAT shyt last year, saying the next five years are his for the taking
2. not being able to successfully stop any guard (Luka last season, and Jamal murray last season, and luka again this postseason)

Pat Bev making any all-defensive team is a complete joke. He's never stopped ANYONE, is foul-prone, and honestly, an awful playmaker who doesnt have the IQ to make his teammates better

if the Clippers lose the series, that nikka needs to be shipped off somewhere

They can't even beat a sorry ass Mavericks with one legit star, washed up Zingis and bunch of role players that sometimes get hot. Do these fools even care about the embarrassment? Ship their asses to Seattle and restart the franchise. But nooooo, LA money.

Actively tanked the last two games to avoid the possibility of the Lakers, and instead are about to get put in the torture rack by Dallas or Portland...

I've never seen such a frontrunner team. The way the completely folded last year in G7, the way they walk it back when another team punches them back. This thread was premature, I jumped the gun on these dudes...

The jokes write themselves with this Clips team...

•show the world you're terrified of the Lakers
•Come out flat
•defend the 3pt horribly
•poor closing time

Most front running team I've seen maybe ever...

Lotta questions gonna be answered depending how this series shakes out. I know one thing, you don't suck in money time for an entire season and automatically flip a switch to being a crunch time heavyweight in the playoffs...

•we are gonna have a real answer on who Lue is as a coach without LeBron....and I think we already got our answer with the way they ducked the Lakers

•in one playoff run a bunch of heads started referencing Kawhi as if he has a history of turning into an assassin in the playoffs. That one run was special and then last year came. He sucked down the stretch of this G1, alota yall gonna have to recalibrate the esteem in which yall hold dude if this team flops again

•duck the Lakers just to get a team that wanted you anyway who isn't afraid of you

Still think this series will be competitive, and still think my Mavs pick is correct. This is one of the weakest "elite" teams I've ever seen in my 22 years watching NBA ball...

Un fukking believable how soft this team is. Lotta yall need to re-evaluate Kawhi. He played well today, definitely did in the first half before disappearing the most of the 2nd...

He continues to be outplayed by Luka in every game. Every game? Vs a Year 3 player? Either Luka is well on the road to a very rare class of All-Time greatness so its no shame in getting worked by him, or Kawhi aint the guy The Coliseum said he was...

This team has issues everywhere, @thedevilyouknow get your ass in here black man...

this long winded groupie wrote essays before the series was over just to be dead wrong :mjlol:

Lebron quitting ass the one sitting at the crib :umad: Lol @ ducking that wakk ass lakers team who got bounced in the 1st round

Ty Lue is coaching his ass off.

He should get some credit.

Kudos to Kawhi for showing why he is 2x NBA Finals MVP.

And Paul George :ehh: not shrinking in adversity.

With that said, the Jazz should beat them in 6 or 7 games.

I wrote that after G2, and he was outplayed by Luka in the first two games...

Anyway, shout out to Kawhi, I'm still not sold on the Clippers and this thread was about them as a team. Utah is much more disciplined and stronger defensively, runs a more consistent offense with more consistent shooters and more consistent role players, so if LA makes it thru them I think I'll buy in. As it is, they likely won't survive making the same mistakes vs Utah they did vs Dallas...

As to your link and the suggestion Kawhi is one of the greatest playoff players ever, thats been going around lately and people (referencing your link and those who agre really gotta chill on that. He's one of the greatest playoff guys of the post-Jordan era. He's played in three Finals and his most scintillating performances have all come outside The Finals. Of his era he's not proven to be a greater postseason performer than Durant, and as of now is probably tied with Curry with a chance to push past him depending on how he ends this postseason...

Outside his era, come on. Mike, Kareem, Bird, Magic, Shaq, Dream, not only do all of these guys who played in multiple Finals have greater performances than any Kawhi Finals, who has also played in multiple Finals, these guys all have more playoff runs knocking shyt down----->Kawhi's playoff legacy to this point is winning FMVP as a role player; a strong '17 run until he got hurt; a stronger '19 run that he stayed healthy until the end for and started all this "Kawhi is GOAT level" shyt; and two great series vs a Mavs team the last two years in the first round...as if dozens of players throughout history haven't had scorching Rd1 series...

Those are the GOOD parts of his playoff legacy, I'm not even gonna mention the multiple negative parts of his playoff legacy that yall only wanna do with a select few---->bad playoff moments on here only matter if its Beard, Steph, or Bron. According to The Coli no one else ever had a weak playoff showing or deserves criticism for it...

So thats it, his playoff resume is not even CLOSE to being deserving of one of the greatest playoff performers ever....but, this was an epic performance vs Dallas this year seen by very few, and in his last few healthy playoffs he's creating a very strong trajectory to one day being considered an All-Timer in the money moments. He just doesn't have that skin in the game yet...
