it doesn't kill it, u just expect more of midsommar because of how good hereditary is.



haven't rewatched it yet and i doubt i ever will. the only somewhat spooky part was what her sister did. the rest was just dumb to me

Aside from the first 20 minutes or so (as you mentioned), Midsommar was pure ass sandwiches. I went from The Which to Hereditary to that trash smh...

Midsommer was beautiful.

One of the brightest horror movies ever which was dope to me.

I think the films style and how it was very atypical horror threw a lot of people off tho
