First off that isn't how sensible debate functions, it's how echo-chamber dogma is fostered. You don't have to present a new idea in order to point out why an existing idea isn't valid. You want to discuss realistic answers as to how black people can get from under white supremacy? The most learned black historians, economists and sociologists will tell you the truth which is, they don't really know. Most serious thinkers aren't foreign to the notion that for African Americans the country could remain fatally flawed to the end.

And please, miss me with the infantilizing notion being bandied about here; that in active discourse about black progress, positivity is an end in itself. If the point of this is to feel good about ideas and platitudes, then the thread is in no way equal to its premise.

By all means people should be involved and build in their communities and not because they've deluded themselves into thinking that it offsets centuries of structural inequalities, but because its the right thing to do and its within their power to do it.

You make some great points, but the truth of the matter is that the black petty bourgeoisie and black bourgeoisie hold powerful net worth in a capitalist society and to totally disown the black bourgeoisie would continue deep division. I am anti-captialist, but until we can build a powerfucl Du-Bois-like (Malcolm X like) ideology in our community, we have to try and reach the most community driven members of the black bourgeoisie.

I argue that since the black bourgeoisie is such a tiny percentage of the black population, the black working class and poor must continue to convert some individuals to be apart of the community and work towards improving black youth education regarding anti-capitalism, anti-racism, and community building; let be real here: the only way to overturn any kind of oppression anywhere in history or today is through agency. Creating longstanding educated communities.

In addition, the black bourgeoisie has the funds to take certain political offices, like state govt positions that we need to get control of since they are in charge of education facilities, whch is our number one problem. Once we take state govt positions, we can allocate funds to improving education...the problem is that we have to select carefully who we will support from the black bourgeoisie. We have been bamboozled in the past and the majority of the black bourgeoisie are proud capitalists, but some are not and actually care about the black masses. its up to me and others in academia to expose the historical trends of certain members of the black bourgeoisie so that the black masses can formulate strategies of community and support around them.

Like I said before, agency is the ONLY WAY to overturn racial, capitalist, or any type of oppressive measure in the world.

No one is blaming everything on black women. Enough with the exaggeration. But at the same time, how can any progress be made when they take zero accountability for anything that goes wrong on their watch?

The number of ambitious black women in the US outnumbers ambitious black men. FACTS.

Even as recent as the 1940s/1950s, many young black children grew up in a household with a father figure. Today, in part due to feminism, women seek out men who they find the most attractive as opposed to men with good values, ambitions and has the ability to provide for his women and potential offspring.

All women are starting to become like that but black women have been doing it more than anybody. They would rather date a snapback wearing, rap lyric reciting, instagram obsessed, "swag" obsessed, party obsessed 21 year old over a hardworking young black man who is focused on his future and his education.

Black girls covet the "bad boy" more than any other race of women. These guys then knock them up and they're bewildered when they walk out on her and the baby. A lot of BW act like having a baby is no big deal either, almost like its like purchasing a car.

Not ALL black women are like that though, let me clarify. No hate to any BW on TheColi but what I'm saying is true, especially in inner cities. BW care more about what brand of clothes you're wearing than what your future plans are

The "Drug Business" isn't the problem. It's actual a good solution to many problems. The problems lies in the greed of drug dealers and the unnecessary flossing and hating. One could just as easily spend that drug money on something of substance like property and businesses. Instead of policing the neighborhood and keeping everyone safe they let fools turn the area into warfones inviting unwanted attention to the area. Forcing the good working class blacks out of the community.

What black people did was create sub-cultures in the American culture. We couldn't join and excel in theirs. Just so happens that subculture we created was destructive and irresponsible. Those bad guys were the leaders of that culture.

A working man was and may still be at the whim of white men. While drug dealers are too, the working man is even moreso.

Why do we think they go after drug dealers so hard? It's brothers saying "fukk your system of white supremacy, I'll get money my way".
