He's not perfect, but where does Tariq Nasheed stand with you as a black voice in the media?

He doesn't necessarily need credentials to talk about race issues (because he has lived experienced), but when it comes to the history, sociology, and theory related to those issues discussed, yes, I would like to hear that from someone who has studied it extensively. I'm not sorry about that.
That isn't always the case, someone with those credentials can jeopardize their reputation for speaking out in the manner Tariq does. Your not going to get the whole truth about racism when someone has to think about job security and their social circle. Tariq doesn't have to worry about that, he can call out racism without any repercussions. Your not going to see a Black historian on CNN discussing the White washing through history.

If they're tenured they aren't worried about anything. However, I have maintained through out this entire thread that Tariq has his lane (niche) and black academics have theirs. Y'all are the only one's in the thread trying to diminish one group to uplift someone else.

Not everyone will connect with Tariq nor will everyone connect with a MHP (something that I said before in this thread). They both serve their purpose to spread knowledge.

Nothing about black feminism means you're for white men. :pachaha:It's really sad that is what a number of black men on here think. In my opinion, based on the current state of the black community, black feminists are going to ruffle the feathers of some black men.I don't think there is anyway to avoid it because there are some issues black women face because of black men...& black men can't face that.

But he's both.

I am definitely not against black economic empowerment but I am against him.Him being for black economic empowerment is not going to compensate for his whole general stance.

If you want to know more about black feminism.I suggest reading into it.Read some of Bell hooks books, etc.& I don't care or him.He is not a voice I would tune into.I think he is sexist and inconsiderate from what I've seen and heard from him.

I didn't really read into this street harassment campaign when it was going on but I'm pretty sure charges weren't going to be just against black men (but men in general).& I don't see how restraining street harassment furthers white supremacist narratives.

Black feminisms means your against black men.

This is like saying the stop and frisk campaign didn't on paper target black men :dead:

So you think if you did a cost-benefit analysis of black people spending their money on infotainment of sketchy accuracy, the money spent will be outweighed by the appreciable real work capital that is spurned from inspiration by said infotainment. Wow.

HC3 was MUCH more accurate than HC1 and 2 :manny:

And if education correlates with liberalism, why wouldn't African centered education not have an effect on a person's mentality and actions? :patrice:

Precisely. I started the thread calling out HC 1 for its scientific flaws. So yeah, the fact I'm a Tariq supporter (generally) doesn't mean we're unwilling to call a spade a spade @Mephistopheles

Why we don't hear about Mexican feminist or Asian feminist? :heh:

Back in college this Mexicans girl was laughing at this Black girl for calling herself a Black Feminist.

The Mexicans girl said in their community, they don't divide themselves by gender. She didn't understand why another minority racial group of women would separate themselves from their males.

No wonder the Mexicans are winning more than the Black community.

My sister is a Black feminist and all her friends. I grew up around this shyt. Natural hair, bell hooks, fake outrage etc. You act like there can't be proud Black women without them being associated with Black feminists. You may not like White men but they are perfect for you, Black feminist get real comfortable around men of other races. They can still talk negative about Black men and they might get a mixed race baby. I believe in you, you can do it :salute:

Considering the fact that you know absolutely nothing about me or my life, you aren't qualified to judge my truthfulness or lack thereof. Thanks for playing.
That's the point. You don't have to explain shyt to a negus.

These black fembos are troll agents set out to divide the black community based on the fallacy of black male patriarchy, just look up Kola Boof & the shyt this whore has said about black men. Most of em do crave white men(or any other non black man, but yet they bytch and moan about bm who date out) as u can see from the ones' who post on this site. Obviously they can't get their white prince charming otherwise they wouldn't be here bytching and moaning to black men who they think are lesser than other men.

The thing is nikkaz need to remember that most black women don't fukk with these attention whoring trollbots and the b.s they say about black men should never be seen as an official perspective of bw on bm.

Hidden Colors isn't African centered education, it's a 3 part infotainment documentary series.
