That isn't always the case, someone with those credentials can jeopardize their reputation for speaking out in the manner Tariq does. Your not going to get the whole truth about racism when someone has to think about job security and their social circle. Tariq doesn't have to worry about that, he can call out racism without any repercussions. Your not going to see a Black historian on CNN discussing the White washing through history.He doesn't necessarily need credentials to talk about race issues (because he has lived experienced), but when it comes to the history, sociology, and theory related to those issues discussed, yes, I would like to hear that from someone who has studied it extensively. I'm not sorry about that.

It's really sad that is what a number of black men on here think.In my opinion, based on the current state of the black community, black feminists are going to ruffle the feathers of some black men.I don't think there is anyway to avoid it because there are some issues black women face because of black men...& black men can't face that.
