He's not perfect, but where does Tariq Nasheed stand with you as a black voice in the media?

He gives black people a platform with hidden colors. That's pretty much all he does that's worthy of praise. Some of these dudes worship him like the father they never had.

Being able to say that should compile him to a top 2 spot as a Black voice in the media...I give credit where it's due...I can't even name another media voice thats black that isn't a talking head that white supremacist bring out to shuck and jive.

It's very telling out of all that you only focused on a small segment that wasn't even directed towards you. :sas2:

You said "Thats part of you tariq stands problems" in a direct quote of what I said.

That's part of you Tariq stans problem, a nikka don't need no CNN or no facebook to make an impact on rebuilding and helping out the community.

It was one brother on here put out a damn list of what he's accomplished in reguards to black empowerment, brotha didn't need FOX or World Star, even Sa Neter ass hitting him up to market the love and drive he has to better his community and his people. fukk a media, our people need our attention before hits or downloads. He ain't doing it for praise, but because he's about making a change for his own.

Meanwhile, all Tariq ass did is just cliff note shyt from every black academic and scholar from the 80's-90's and stretch it out three movies and call our women wenches and our brothas c00ns, and start fake drama with that cocksucka Sotomayor and he got nikkas here wit they pom-poms shaking, screaming "B-BlACK POWER!".

He's a refurbished Sista Souljah (that fukks with cacs on the low) for the twitter generation. Next.

So according to tariq's fanboys he's making a difference to the black community because he's on tv every once in a while? Since when does fame mean anything?

If he did hidden colors for free I think you'd have a point. At the end of the day it's all about business.

It's shallower than that.

Remember when he was going after Sister Feminista Jones? While Tariq was actually make some sound points, these nikkas here were just cracking on her looks, how she probably sleeps with white men etc.

So in a sense, they actually are more engaged by his put on, outlandish personality (cuz sorry for any of you youngstas, the nikka look sweeter than a damn $1 tea from McDonalds) than his actual input to what he's discussing.

But like I stated before, he's a perfect representation for this generations definition for activism, and interestingly enough all who truly benefit from this is Tariq himself. Not saying the brotha shouldn't eat well, but most of that money is going straight to him and the distributors. The schools closing in Philly ain't getting that shyt. The Charter-school out here in Pullman in Chicago that just opened ain't seeing a dime of it. Hell did he even bother to send a few dollars to Umar Johnson's school?

Again, not saying he can't benefit from the fruits of his "labor", but I'm not acting like the nikka Thurgood marshall or huey newton.

His number one concern is a dollar and I'm always wary of people like that... I remember when Ferguson was just starting to pop off somebody shared a picture that came from his twitter page of that military truck they'd brought out. Dude pasted a graphic for his website over the photo... the fukk kinda shyt is that, man :smh: but when he's on, he's on :manny:

He's better off tapdancing if that's his end goal.
Most black people aren't going to support son no matter how he presents himself and will actively look for reasons to tear him down.
He'd make a lot more dough if he focused on aligning his ideals in conjunction with the media and not against it.
