there's a lot of data looking at political media that says infotainment isn't even that bad. it still can inform people who likely were not going to engage at all. it's clearly not as great as reading peer reviewed journals, but how many people are sitting around reading the latest social science journals that aren't PhDs themselves? seems to me like someone heard infotainment is bad in a single class and is ignoring other scholarly material that supports its place in the media.

on the black feminism is an oxymoron tip. i support equality for men and women. i view women as my equals. the problem is all men and women are not viewed as equals in amerikkka. the gap in equality between a black woman and a black man is much smaller than the gap between a black man and any single white person.

black women are going to college more, employed more, less likely to be incarcerated or be victims of police brutality than black men. as a whole black men are the biggest victims of white supremacy in amerikkka. black women actually have it better than black men in america. cry about being single mothers or some creep hollering at you on the street all you want, but at least a third of you are not being put in jail in a discriminatory justice system that is destroying your own families, economy and community.
