Nah Bill Clinton wasn't hated nor was he anywhere near the divisive figurehead that Trump represents.
Bill lied under oath about getting head from an interm while the Trump administration has been in scandal after scandal. Asking foreign entities to interfere in US elections, paying pornstars hush money with possible fundraising contributions, asking for dirt on the son of his political rival, etc.
Don't get me wrong Bill was no angel, but his issue was more so that he lied under oath and people had an issue with him kinda being a scumbag.
A lot of Black folks point to that '94 crime bill, but Clinton was loved for the most part in the 90s.
If it wasnt for his questionable personal life a lot of the political left would probably look at him and revere him like the conservative right reveres Reagan.
If non-Whites get up and support the Democratic candidate and vote then Trump will not win. He actually flipped several states that typically go blue.
Republicans have also lost power in the house and governor's seats in deep red states.
Trump is not teflon he's very vulnerable, he's not expanding his base at all. He's in office right now due to voter apathy.

yes, Clinton's approval rating went up because the economy was booming. not just the stock market, like people were actually doing well financially, whereas now a lot of people struggling even with the stock market doing alright.

He lost by 3 million votes, yet still won over a few states by less than 80,000 votes.
The reality is America needs to focus on eliminating the electoral college, as well as revamp the senate.
It's existence is an unfair advantage to smaller states with a less significant population.
This form of discrimination is only magnified when, considering the contemporary trend of people moving from small towns and rural areas to large cities, primarily on the coast.
By 2050 it's projected that most of the world will live in major cities.
