A black heterosexual male faces far more sytematic discrimination than a white gay person and is much more likely to be killed simply because of who they are(black) than a white gay person.

The fact that this is the most common response to straight-pride thing is just an illustration of how stupid people are.

We have such an unhealthy relationship with sex, and sexuality. Also, its always so sad and pathetic to see a dominant group (in this case heterosexuals) ignore their own privilege in an effort to shyt on an oppressed minority (in this case homosexuals). As if heterosexuality isn't rife in every facet of our society. These people doing this really are insecure. So childish.

That hashtag is absolute silliness and I am a raging heterosexual. Wonder if it would be problematic to start a #AfrAmFromTwoParentAboveMediumIncomeHousehold, #HuxtableLyfe, #NoQuestionMarksOnMyFamilyTree or #TatoosAreForHookersAndServicemenDontMarkYourTempleWithBS movement since all are applicable to me and my marginalized sect.
