triple team Shaq and leave single coverage on Lebron who was averaging 27 points

In the regular season.....once again, the regular season aint the playoffs and we've seen his efficiency plummet when the transition opportunities go down and he is dared to shoot.

Please, try to watch the game for once.

Pau has been an all-star the last two years in Chicago. What the fukk is wrong with you?

What does this have to do with Kobe and Gasol playing together and Gasol not being an all star until after the title run :wtf:

If that team happened, people would be calling LeBron "Magic on Steroids" (pun may or may not be intended)
that's one of the most comical parts about hating on him. they ignore barry bonds going from the kd physique to the LeBron one in his late 30's to argue their agenda but think since LeBron kept growing after 18 years old he must be juicing even though there's no shred of anything to suggest it
"The narrative that Lebron has great court vision" :dead: :dead: :dead:

THE NARRATIVE!!! :russ:

The narrative instead of the visual evidence we've had over his entire career :mjlol::mjlol:

I'm crying
yeah it isn't like he's led his team in assists all 13 years he's played, carrying so heavy a load that in 2009-10, he averaged 29.7 points AND 8.6 assists per game and only had maybe 2-3 seasons under 7 per game (sometimes barely under 7) since his second season.

Some of your fellow stans have made that argument but if you think it is even close to being the same scenario, you can't be helped.

Yes, a dude making an all star team a half decade prior to his next one and after he joined a much bigger superstar does not make him an all star. Its dishonest to suggest otherwise.

Nope, Gasol's only all star team was in 2006 prior to linking with Kobe. This isn't Lebron joining Wade, Bosh, Kyrie or Love. And save the convoluted excuse on Odom :russ:

Because the PF was fukking stacked and why are you trying to act like all star matters when Kobe was getting fan nominated in seasons when he obviously wasn't one of the best players in the NBA. You can be an all-star Caliber player, just playing in a stacked position. Like if you had various HOFers like KG, Duncan, Shaq, Yao, Malone, etc who were all more noticeable during Gasol's first 4 years in the league in the early 2000s.

Gasol was an all-star player, headed right into his prime, and averaging 20/8 on 50% shooting when he got scooped by Phil.

nikkas actually arguing that Gasol isn't an All-star caliber player because he was going against nikkas like Garnett averaging 24/13, Duncan, and the like in the West when the big position was either stacked (Kg, Duncan, Shaq, Yao).

Yeah, Gasol was a bottom tier all star CALIBER player, not an all star, whose efficiency, PER and accolades all increased astronomically after joining Kobe. The same cannot be said for any of Lebron's all star caliber teammates and there lies the difference.

Half decade? He was an all-star in 2006. 2009 is a half decade later? :wtf: He was putting up comparable numbers throughout, he wasn't on his last leg, never to make an all star team again like Shaq.

these are the same people who hype up bean making the all star team in 1998 playing 26 minutes a game, making it in 2014 while playing 6 games all year, and being simply horrible to the point his teams are better on both ends of the court when he sits the last 2 seasons (this year was especially bad). Their brains don't function logically

Logic is completely gone with them. Resorting to making arguments that Kobe's teammates are trash and just looked good playing next to him, even though they have routinely trashed guys like Odom for not being what he was BEFORE he got there, and all of the guys they claimed forgot how to shoot once they joined the Lakers.

I welcome differing opinions, but these people are fukking stupid.

Was there a Kobe Finals series when he was missing his 2nd & 3rd best player?
Was there a Kobe Finals series where his 2nd best player was at 50%?
Was there a Kobe Finals series where he played with ZERO All-Stars?
Was there a Kobe Finals series where played an All-Time great team?

No is the answer to all that shyt.
