They were dealing with a new type of enemy, and the way they saw it was better to lose soldiers trying to get valuable intel than to continue dealing with this new threat knowing jack about em. She ended up crystalizing herself anyways.

Kevin's entire family ESPECIALLY his cheap ass uncle was a bunch of a$$holes so it's no surprise that they let Buzz be the b*stard that he was. The real questions I have is:

1. Why did Harry stayed teamed up with Marv's dumbass after they escaped from prison? After that "wet bandits" bullshyt I would have told him to kick rocks dummy

2. When they both saw Kevin WHY did they decide to chase after him? I don't care what the reason, after going through that house of torture from the first movie they should have immediately be like " NOPE! Lets take a cab OUT of New York"
