So u r believing in god just in case hell exists.Christianity revolves around going to heaven and avoiding eternal suffering after death.
Reading about it in the Bible it sounds like heaven is amazing, but then I read all you're gonna do in heaven is praise God for eternity. 24/7 365 FOREVER
Right now I'm in a phase where I believe in God and Christianity and I'm trying to live righteously but it's more because I don't want to be BBQ Chicken in hell more than because I love God. I'm just being honest
As for why we exist on earth I'd like to believe it's so that we can do what we love. Making bonds with people, enjoying nature, creating things, etc.
That's why most believe in their religion as well. My brother told me the exact same thing. Bu bu But what if there is a hell, at least I won't be there.

I personally believe we are here for spiritual development. I feel if everything thing of the earth stays here like money,goods,and even our bodies the only thing we can possibly take with us is the spiritual growth we experienced on earth.
We can say that we are strong willed or have self control and whatever but you will never know truly unless you experience it and you are shown to yourself.
