:laff::jaymad: ill hold my revenge neg for now

i don't understand your point though. how is the economy different now than it was in 2016 as far as the whole paycheck to paycheck shyt goes :dahell: wages are even slightly better, and unemployment is a little lower :mindblownj:

it's not possible to praise the obama economy while shytting on the trump economy. the trump economy IS the obama economy, only a hair better :dead:
Problem is healthcare costs and housing costs especially keep rising. A lot of our ills would be fixed if we could come up with a sane housing policy. All the wage gains are eaten up by rents.

This is dense even for you. The economy was recovering from Bush's recession and on its way as Trump took over.

His trade war and destruction of the safety net is why his economy is flatline compared to Obama's. Things were trending the right way and he's successfully destroyed that

The federal deficit in May reached $208 billion, surging 42 percent over last May’s monthly deficit figure after the new GOP tax law, with the Treasury estimating that the full deficit will exceed $1 trillion by the time the fiscal year wraps up at the end of September.

We’re in a knowledge based economy and that’s the way it is.

If you are aged 27-36 right now, realize the world fukked us over royally and our lives are irrevocably ruined.
You’re not kidding. 20 years ago my folks bought a 2700 square foot house with a pool in Orlando for $188,000. That house would cost double that today. How many people can afford that much? Up here I regularly see houses under 1500 square feet that still go over $500,000. 20 miles east to get out of the city and even 1800 square foot houses have $1200+ a month in property taxes. The average car probably cost 70% of what the average car costs today. People used to be able to buy a house large enough to raise a family in with the job they’d get after graduating high school. Now a bachelors and frequently a masters might not get you a job to support the rent on a one room apartment. Let’s not forget the country’s crumbling infrastructure or the environment. This isn’t sustainable. We’re the first generation in maybe 90-100 years to be worse off economically than the one before us. When the bill comes due, it’s gonna be ugly.
