i sell real estate.

i assumed the average person sees you pull up in a mercedes... looks like you're the guy.:yeshrug:

these days when i know i'm meeting someone important... i park around the block so they don't see me hop out the shytcan:mjcry:

My real estate agent drives a old beat up Camry. He sells 20 million dollar homes in Newport Beach (not to me obviously lol).

He likes the idea of having a low key older car. Because then it doesn't seem like he's making THAT much money off of clients.

So you should be proud to pull up in the Corolla. No shame in that. You worked hard for it.

Believe me I am not the shallow type, but perception is reality.

If I'm selling my home chances are this is the biggest transaction of my life. I'm about to liquidate my most valuable asset. I want to be positive I'm giving my business to someone who knows what he's doing. If an agent pulled up to my home in an old beat down Camry... just sayin it's not the best first impression. Just the way it is unfortunately.
