Well Sting was the top guy in 1990, 1992-1994 too, but yeah, Luger actually out drew Sting, especially when they faced Flair. Luger's matches with Flair always did way better business

I'd put Vader over Sting in 93-94 and Flair became the top face because Sting wasn't drawing. WCW was getting good the months before Hogan came :( random I know

I got you. Yeah it was either Vader or Sting

And yeah WCW before Hogan run in 1994 was dope but Hogan jumped their PPV buys up by a LOT. So I can't fault them. First Hogan WCW PPV outdrew anything they ever did right away.

straight up, JBL's title run at the same time was better. When they saw eachother backstage at that one PPV or on raw...JBL was more impressive/convincing.

And this is funny because Flair did not want to drop the belt to Luger when Sting got injured because he felt Sting was the guy to pass the torch too. I always felt that Sting got a raw deal for not drawing back in the early 90s. It would have been impossible for anyone to do well when you had Dusty's insane booking and a relic like Bill Watts running things

He didn't become the top face because Sting wasn't drawing..it was a fake retirement angle and Flair was always getting booked strong. Flair drew as a top heel..the top face things he did weren't Hogan like or anything close at all.

I never been a fan of Hunter, but i do respect his "heel" steeze, that dude can make you hate him like for real, its cause he pretty much plays himself whenever hes a heel...an a$$hole....despite all that, i still hate him:pacspit:

Stephanie was more over as heel..people keep revising history on Cripple H in 2000. He didn't even really get all the way over until after Backlash 2000. They did this tweener turn with him too leading to Summerslam and the fans COMPLETELY shytted on his angle with Kurt and Stephanie and disregarded their pre match brawl while chanting ROCKY the entire time. It was funny shyt.

He came out to WM 2000 to silence that Rob Conway would be proud of.

Hhh doesn't know how,to play this corporate character . He's positioning himself in a way so that he can still wrestle a legend but is hurting the character . He shouldn't be threatening and trying to physically intimidate Bryan that's stupid and makes Bryan and orton look bad .he should be selling his corporate power and have Bryan threatening to hit him but him using orton or security and threats to his contract to stop Bryan . Mr McMahon needs to teach him

To sell the match...Cripple H basically said Daniel Bryan wasn't a star. "I only wrestle stars..A+ wrestlers...Undertaker, Rock, or Brock Lesnar. I would never wrestle the likes of you." Now...if Cripple H is as over as everyone says and everyone listens to him, why the fukk would anyone buy the PPV with him undercutting one half of the main event like that? It's insanity. One again...he proves he's out of the loop.
