This is why I love HHH, he is the anti IWC. He was a major player and was EQUAL to Austin, Rock, Mankind and all of the other top guys in the post HBK attitude era. These geeks get online and like to rewrite history for themselves until TRUE history smacks them in the face like a brick wall. Its hilarious to watch.
Yup, that has to happen.
But in the meantime HHH's promo is making people pay money to SEE it happen.
If he wasnt a druggie idiot, he wouldve had the chanceTo some of you who said this;
Orton was never the guy either.
If he wasnt a druggie idiot, he wouldve had the chance
I agree, im just saying he wouldve got that super HHH type heel push like he was getting in 09 for WM25 for a longer period instead being in & out of the bushes for 5 yearsHe never had the personality to get the crowd behind him like that as a face tho
He's a decent number 2, but not the man
rvd went over cena on ppv and never returned the favor, the nose cant say that
and all that shyt about if those guys were on top theyd be working for ted turner can be applied to his never drawing ass, whats that shyt about hogan making vince a millionaire, austin making him a billionaire and hhh making him a millionaire?
The WWE business went downhill THE DAY HHH took over for Steve Austin. The day of. How often did Smackdown ever draw higher ratings than Raw. It did during the pre John Cena era. HHH is the OG b+ player which fuels his insecurity
It would have went down no matter what. People seem to forget how badly the Austin character declined.![]()
Totally disagree with that. People want to see Bryan prove HHH wrong, and winning at Hell in a Cell progresses that storyline.It did nothing to build Hell in a Cell though. It was HHH getting his rocks off unimpeded
Austin character took a hit when he turned heel and drawing went down because the fans didn't accept a Austin aligned with Vince Mcmahon after all these years, but it was still far greater than anything Triple H did as a top draw.It would have went down no matter what. People seem to forget how badly the Austin character declined.![]()
I guarantee Hell in the Cell does no buys, just like SummerSlam this year did way worse than last year, and the last PPV did terrible too.Totally disagree with that. People want to see Bryan prove HHH wrong, and winning at Hell in a Cell progresses that storyline.
Stop...Raw was firmly in place as the B show because of HHH and that shyt stayed that way until Batista's WM push. Then after Cena and Batista switched shows Raw improved even more.
HHH was a placeholder at best and not a very good one.
I tell you straight up that I HATED Goldberg, but I acknowledge that he was draw.....except when he was feuding with HHH. Goldberg was able to draw in WCW with the likes of Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner but couldn't draw with HHH in the only major promotion in the country.
