I just think Hibbert didnt want to get clowned by his teammates after saying he stretched Lebron out. Guys in the locker room look for anything to make fun of someone...its just locker room banter. What's bizarre to me is the general public being so shocked and offended when this type of stuff goes public...its boys being boys.

i imagine an athlete would catch heat for calling someone a retard. unfortunately for them, people with downs syndrome generally dont happen to be in positions of social influence and economic wealth.

and given the treatment of homosexuals in the history of the world, i'd say some sensitivity is warranted.

i, on the other hand, have never once been worried about sounding/appearing gay, so i have no use for the term. and like i said earlier, using it implies that you're worried about coming off as gay, which is a totally foreign concept to me.
