And why is the talk about these incidents will make football go away but not other sports like auto racing? Seems like somebody dies in that sport every year. Not only that but even fans get injured when there's a wreck and car parts fly into the stands.
not only that but its a useless sport wasting gallons of fuel on something that provides zero entertainment to educated people.

Are there pee wee, middle school and HS racing teams I don't know about?
Lol actually there are racing leagues for youth. Not pee wee but very young. You think they start off at the NASCAR or Indy level? Starts with cart racing at a young age.

Tyrell Cameron

From what I seen on facebook the kid is was a freshman middle linebacker...this was his first game, and it happened in the 4th. Dude was playing garbage minutes and was probably just happy he was out there.

doesnt make it any better. i imagine the same type of folks who want their kids racing motorized vehicles as children are the same type of folks who buy their kid child rifles and shyt for xmas. borderline child neglect imo to have them racing shyt before they are licensed legally. auto racing is obviously much more dangerous. especially in an instant life ending sense. but with everything thats coming out about the early onset of brain troubles etc in research youd be nuts to put your kid into football as a pee wee rather than taking up another sport

Brehsident evil
that's some sad shyt.

this is why i can't see football lasting forever. parents aren't going to want to send out their kids and risk their current health(and especially their future health) for a sport where they don't even have guaranteed contracts. :martin:
The violence of the sport is highly appreciated in the south breh

Oh I agree...I don't even think there should be pee wee tackle football. At that age it should just be flag or touch. There are other skills in the game they can learn and put off tackling until later. But just because we feel that way it doesn't change the mindset of a large portion of this country. Football is woven into the fabric of America like guns.

And the participation rate isn't approaching football, it's not a good comparison :yeshrug:
I was just replying to the comment that here aren't racing leagues for youth. My main point was that we keep hearing talk about football going away, being banned, drastically changed or whatever when these injuries are discussed but never with auto racing when it seems like somebody dying every year and even fans getting hurt. Even a legend like Dale Earnhardt died on the track but no talk of ending the sport. That's like Peyton Manning dying on the field.
