A big problem with a lot of injury occurrences is kids being taught wrong, not having proper technique. All my life I was coached you put your hat (helmet) on the side the ball is being carried, wrap, and drive. It wasn't until I got to high school where coaches were actually coaching kids to lead tackles with their head by putting your helmet into the opponents chest/upper body area, then actually got mad when you didnt follow their direction
That's when I had to toss playing football in the bushes, my trajectory wasn't pro level anyway so what do I look like going out and breaking my neck or worse.
