sharing it on social media is what takes it to the next level...a few years back I had some students get suspended for doing something similar...it was a bit more vulgar in nature (instead of a rating...they were discussing which girls would they sleep w/—I’m wording it more gently than they did) and they went so far as to even post pics of the girls’ faces...and they were sending links to other classmates...parents of some of the girls got wind of it and said it was comparable to online bullying since it could result in the girls getting a negative reputation...the school had no choice but to discipline the boys

In my high school and college we had anonymous pages exposing all kinds of shyt.

This is nothing.

It was like seeing everything you are insecure about brought to you by someone else. Putting a number on a girl like this is the same as any other slur — a homophobic or racial slur. It’s a way to degrade women,” she said." “It was like seeing everything you are insecure about brought to you by someone else. This is what that bullshyt intersectionality” gets you blafkmeolen and black gays who go along with it.

The boys at my high school, did the exact same thing.Only difference is we did not have social media back then. It's weird now, but looking back I got really offended to be ranked as ugly, but now as I have gotten older I am not offended if someone thinks Im ugly or not. Especially men

If I got disciplined for ranking girls outside of school on social media and this was public school, I'd be ready to file lawsuits. How you gone suspend somebody for being saying "she's an 8" on facebook? I understand if they suggested they stop, but how can you suspend them kids if this is a public school?

seems like these kids received ISS for a day or so...so they still get to stay in school and learn but they are secluded from their classmates...most parents are responsible enough to see a situation like this and see some wrongdoing on the boys’ part and not really challenge an in-school suspension

Ranking anyone like this at anytime is never a good thing for people on the list or who aren’t on the list, especially those who already suffer from self-esteem issues. I really wish people would stop thinking that doing polls ranking someone’s attractiveness is ever a good thing. People dismiss it because it happened in their time but that never makes it right.

right...some kids actually go to school to learn and not be involved w/ the fukkery...back in the days when it was just us being goofy and making a pen/paper list...@ most it would just circulate thru our small group of friends or maybe randomly fall into the hands of the girl(s) you liked...w/ social media the whole grade level or even the entire school for that matter can end up privy to the shyt and it can absolutely become a distraction
