While rocking braids/long cornrows or a clean shaven head to go with it….That combo to this day is still one of the dopest, most iconic fits from the 2000’s :wow:

I forgot to mention the optional bandana wrapped on the head underneath the fitted too

Yep. I said the samething. The 00s is the 80s for GenZ. Just like the 80s was to us millenials back in the 00s. Same way GenX used to look at the 60s back in the 80s. I’m sure GenX used to have 60s day in HS. Those 00s clothes the youngins are wearing, are the clothes I used to rock in middle and high school. :wow: :flabbynsick:
All facts. I feel it’s the millennium shift that’s thrown everything out of perspective for us. It’s be “2000 AND” for 21 straight years now but it’s still been 21 years :old: :mjcry:

Seen a TikTok where a woman was reenacting a recent time being carded. Cashier took a swift look and passed it back like :unimpressed:.
She was like you ain’t even look :mjtf:.
Cashier said “your birth year started with 19…”:unimpressed:

That was the dagger for me :to:

2021 to 2000 the same difference between 2000 and 1979 :damn:

Class of 2002 here :salute::flabbynsick: I loved the basketball jerseys they were out of pocket once they started wearing them backwards though :hhh: I had cornrows in a bunch of different styles, and wasn't feeling the 4x/5x white tees I've always been a broad chest wide back/shoulders Bolo lookin frame my real shirt size was L/XL so my white tees were 2X that way it didn't look smedium looking on me. Niqqas with small Snoop Dogg frames rockin that 4/5X used to look crazy :russ: Jeans were a little baggy but not on some MJ shyt :mjlol:

00's was lowkey the woat fashion decade for hip hop. You see pics of cats in the 80's and even if the shyt out of date they look fresh but fresh nikkas in 2000's wearing concords but covering the tongue up with a pair of jorts that are repping every NBA team:mjlol:

Been saying it, these kids look at our glory days how we looked at the 80’s

EDIT: :mjcry:

Yep.

Class of 2006 :mjcry:

I had to tell my nephew who Dame Dash was, what Rocafella Records was and that Beanie Siegel wasn’t just an actor from the State Prop movie. These kids don’t give a fukk about our era breh. It’s Jurassic to them.
