All facts. I feel it’s the millennium shift that’s thrown everything out of perspective for us. It’s be “2000 AND” for 21 straight years now but it’s still been 21 years


Seen a TikTok where a woman was reenacting a recent time being carded. Cashier took a swift look and passed it back like .
She was like you ain’t even look .
Cashier said “your birth year started with 19…”

It really, really, REALLY hit me when we left Afghanistan and the Taliban took over. I had a lot of friends and people I served with deploy to Afghanistan over the years. One of the most significant events of the last twenty years and these kids weren't even alive when it first started.

I had to tell my nephew who Dame Dash was, what Rocafella Records was and that Beanie Siegel wasn’t just an actor from the State Prop movie. These kids don’t give a fukk about our era breh. It’s Jurassic to them.

To them Dame Dash is just the meme dude from the Breakfast Club interview but he was the Puffy of the 2000s, all up in the videos, dancing. Hell they won't even know the reference to Puffy being all up in the videos.

Class of 2002 here I loved the basketball jerseys they were out of pocket once they started wearing them backwards though I had cornrows in a bunch of different styles, and wasn't feeling the 4x/5x white tees I've always been a broad chest wide back/shoulders Bolo lookin frame my real shirt size was L/XL so my white tees were 2X that way it didn't look smedium looking on me. Niqqas with small Snoop Dogg frames rockin that 4/5X used to look crazy Jeans were a little baggy but not on some MJ shyt

Months ago I was visiting my mom and she was wearing one of my old 4x white tees as a nighty. I asked her where did she get it and she said from old clothes that I put up to give away to the homeless since I didn't wear it anymore. I guess I apparently forgot to send it out. She's 5'3 and I'm 6'3.
