In general you've got a dead conservative party with no new ideas. Can't increase their base because they're too busy making groups hate one another. Every olive branch extended is easily turned to ash by their own hateful statments.

They also brought us the Iraq War™and The Patriot Act ©.

But, no, the problem there wasn't profiling, it was poor execution and lack of proper protocol in addition to the lack of oversight of the situation (if the camera wasn't there who would've caught it?)

The point is profiling initiates the search, then essentially turns nothing into something as a situation can escalate
