ASAP can plan a bunch of nikkas to coordinate a perfect heist from the cops and get rid of the tracker but turns out to just be a dumb aspirational rapper dude. They didn’t set him up to be this “mastermind”

The kids couldn’t act. I’m not giving $17.5m’s because of social media. I didn’t kidnap the kid and mine is good

Ilfesh is fine but can’t act at all.

Mane Spike and Denzel are my goats but this shyt was SUPER MID. Like honestly to me the best part of the movie was probably ASAP which is sad considering all the names involved

Huge drop off from Spikes last two films.

Spike didn’t do a good job of selling the kidnapping. It did not feel like anything was really gonna happen.

Also the dialogue was cheesy as hell in parts. I get that a lot of it was Spikes lingo but it’s outdated and felt out of place in parts.

the only thing that's similar is at some point a kid gets snatched in NYC

regardless of how good Ransom is or isn't, the overall plot of that movie is nothing like this one

I’m 40 minutes in and this shyt is trash

Spike fell the fukk off shyt is too glitzy has no grit. Dialogue is cheesy, references way too cliche and on the nose, weak wardrobing, nothing about this gives off authentic, and this is an adaptation too shyt is completely mailed in

Flight was Denzel’s last good movie it’s been straight mid ever since

Only good movies Spike made in the last 20 years is Inside Man and 5 Bloods

I’m glad I waited for the Apple TV drop too
