That may be true to certain extent but not everyone is sold on online shopping. Stores will be needed for folks like me and many others. I’m from the hood bro and I ain’t never herd a dude say he was go get something from Amazon, at least where I live, hell I gotta sometimes remind dudes they can get shyt on there. Also it’s about convience, I want try my shyt on (even my shoes) and I may not want to wait a few days to get it.

I just think the major malls will last, the Galleria just added wing with 40+ store and they just build a new luxury shopping district. Same with Lexxox..you can’t completely fade out retail, especially Luxury retail.
luxury retail is a different beast, it also maintained during the 08 recession. and no one is saying ti will disappear completely, but malls will. the mall has been replaced with the outdoor entertainment center - places with shopping, dining, entertainment, the whole 300,000 sq ft enclosed structure 10-20 miles outside the city is a thing of the past. those doing well will stay, but people aren't building more and many are closing, especially as anchor tnenants continue to shut down - macy's, penny's, sears,
