so let me get this straight :ohhh:
no one sees this type of statement as a capitulation of democracy?:patrice:
nor does anyone think they are made way too casually? :jbhmm:

It definitely is, but it's been like this for a while now. The only answer is the American people getting politically active.

You have people who believe that wanting your elected officials to listen to your concerns is asking for "handouts". People have completely forgotten what democratic processes look like.

Here's the thing about Sanders' ability to get things through congress; it's largely irrelevant.
:bryan:

How do u figure?

Sander's inability to get shyt through the gerrymandered GOP is the ONLY comfort I take in him. Doesn't look like shyt's gonna change until they redistrict IF the Dems get their shyt together

So when Bernie and Hillary lose and the conservatives elect 4 SCOTUS judges will you all be happy?

Bernie may be more electable than HRC

:ehh: elaborate

If we accept that Bernie can't herald a popular movement that can flip the undemocratic house and senate(and we know Hiliary isn't), then anything that Hiliary can negotiate through a republican legislature is not going to be good. Hiliary with a GOP house and senate WILL raise the retirement age(please bookmark this).

Bernie will be a great deal better on executive appointments. Bernie will appoint a tough SEC, Hiliary won't. Bernie is more likely to do more on mass incarceration and the drug war than Hiliary. Bernie will be miles better on labor law enforcement. Trade, intervention, education privatization, list goes on.

Plus an old, little known socialist from a tiny state beating the entire democratic infastruction and the Clinton machinery in a primary, regardless of what happens in the general, is a victory beyond words for the constantly overlooked American left. Goldwater-esque.

but see heres what i like about bernie :heh:

i dont even think i want his propositions to go all the way thru. imagine if he can get compromises on em?

idk :yeshrug:
maybe the compromise route could work

im just not trying to get no halfway victory like

"look at the super liberal we elected :blessed: he wasnt able to pass anything but we really shook up the system huh :ahh: "

trump is going to win the repubs so whoever comes out from the Dems really needs to take care of business.

its starting to get real out in the field so bernie better get to pandering to minorities for his stans sake
