The one thing I'm glad Bernie mentions and hopefully gets into people's heads is that it isn't enough for him to get elected. People have to remember everything else as well. Election day needs to be made a national holiday as well.

People keep saying "but Bernie isn't Obama " whenever I see this brought up.
Tried listening to the slate political podcast for once and they were so smug and jokingly saying "when will reality set in and Bernie Sanders supporters realize that he isn't Barack Obama yadayadayada".
It's ridiculous.
No ones saying he's Obama anyways, Obama is a point to measure off of.

What has me on Bernie's side is his honesty. He straight up says that everything that he is proposing will need the backing of the people to get through. Unlike Obama who promised us the world of change but then reneged and took alot of money from Wall Street and started bombing other countries like Bush. He's just starting to turn it around now

People are gonna have to understand that if you're rolling with Bernie you're in it for a political revolution. And I hope that if he does beat Hilary that those same expectations are brought forth against the GOP candidate.

How is bernie going to enact any major policy changes without the help of congress? They have been trying to repeal the ACA for quite some time now and Bernie wants single payer? How does he plan on that? It's not like suddenly there will be a democrat congress if he wins the general. The truth is Bernie will not be much different than Obama and neither will Hillary. The entire political process has been privatized and the MNCs that own our congress will be damned if they are going to let a liberal like Sanders throw a wrench in the works. Actually I believe Obama is about as good as it gets for us.
