shyt was always trash and I don't see how it lasted this long. It should be a black eye on black television and never something to be proud of.

:camby: good riddance
Season 1 was good. Once Timbo stopped producing the music and when Debbie Allen and Mario Van Pebbles stopped guest directing.

Those actors will never have it that good again

Taraji and Terence will be fine. But them other ones...nah.

Season 1 was iconic. The bar was set too high at that point. There was nowhere for them to go but down. I haven’t watched a full episode since the beginning of season 2. The writing got lazy, storylines were weird, and too many Latinos.

Who the hell even watches this horrible c00nfest of a show?
“Empire” is being driven by a young, urban audience and is faring especially well in many of the nation’s biggest cities.
Among the top 12 markets, Wednesday’s episode of “Empire” won in the 18-49 demo in every one but Boston. The top scores in those cities came from Atlanta (14.9 rating/29 share), Detroit (9.2/24), Washington, D.C. (7.8/23), Cleveland (7.5/17) and New York (7.3/20) — all well above the show’s national average of 6.0/17.

Roughly two-thirds of those age 2 and older watching “Empire” last Wednesday night (66.9%) were African-Americans. It joins ABC’s Thursday tandem of “Scandal” (42% African-American) and newcomer “How to Get Away Murder” (41%) as broadcast dramas in which more than 4 in 10 viewers are black."

I tuned out at the beginning of season 2. I like Power better but even that is hit or miss

Yeah I was finished after season 2. I got tired of the same old dysfunctional formula and plot. I'm glad both Empire and Power both are ending. Power started out gritty street and has turned into a soap opera.

They just wanted to get the show past 100 episodes to get the syndication money. They realistically should have ended the show 2 seasons ago.

he didn't produce nothing on season 1, shyt went downhill the moment he came onboard
They were giving him credit for the music production of season 1. Everything was better season one imo. When it was focusing mainly on the business side of the music and the family drama took a backseat to that.
