Hip Hop needs a New York rapper hot right now.

Depends on what your criteria for hot is but in the last year or so there's been plenty young and vet MCs from NY putting out hot music.
But being from NY also comes with scrutiny

The problem with NY Hip Hop right now isn't the talent, it's really the fact that you have to dig for it. NY used to be in the forefront. Now you have to search for quality shyt. NY dudes need to up their visibility and all that.

Yea, a while ago. I think in like January, February, at some hip hop event.


His music is pretty nuts, the kid is lyrical but in a cool way, you can tell he is pretty smart but dumbs it down. His voice and flow are his strong points. Especially his voice, no homo


Production wise the kid is on some next shyt. I think he produces his own stuff. He had this one song where he sampled the intro to belly :

As far as the beats, its a mix. He got lil bit of a dark trap vibe, yet his style is very NY based, even down to the samples he used for the songs I heard. Closest comparison would be like a slightly darker Harry Fraud.


He also had this one song that was on some EDM Trap Dub-step type shyt. Kinda like Mercy and Clique. But it was only one song tho. I would say his overall style is a slightly less conventional Harry Fraud mixed with a lil expermentation.


But then again I only heard a couple of songs a while back, I cant really speak on where he is at sonically nowadays.
