Macklemore made a dance song about not rocking name brand shyt....and a powerful song about homosexuality that effects a lot of people...

I'm not so sure whats so hard to understand when I say stop complaining and up your subject matter....up your lyrics... Whats the problem for expecting more from the artist i actually like with ability I actually respect?...

Because you're conflating it with the outrage over an act that did EXACTLY what you're suggesting, to the highest degree in recent history (kendrick), and STILL got screwed over in favor of the cornball cac-rap pop act...surely you can understand the responses right? What possible sense does it make to attempt to make the argument you're attempting to make in the wake of Kendrick getting robbed? Artists should stop complaining and step up their subject matter and lyrics so they can get robbed by white pop acts too??
