Imagine referring to Billy Woods as a "new rapper doing cosplay" :mjlol:
nikkas just need to shut the fukk up if they don't know what they're talking about.

I'd say we need to bring humiliation back but some of these weirdos probably get off on that shyt.

A lot of the new gen rappers to carry the torch from the Big 3 got locked up or passed. But I will say if you only listen to the radio yeah you might think it's dead but in an era where there's so much accessibility for every type of subgenre in the space, then it can't really be "dead". It's just a different era, nikkas ain't sitting around the radio listening to Hot 97 or reading the Source mags.

Also this forum still debates Nas vs Hov :mjlol:

You're not gonna get an accurate portrayal with this archaic level of thinking. It's only a few younger brehs on here that actually contribute to what people are listening to.

Why would I listen to this twice? Too many new rappers doing cosplay of more talented people.

I don't think people here are doing either.

Thought he was rapping in a diff language

Dave East is not it.

Mid.

Mid.

Generic.

I don't think Boldy is wack but I don't care. I don't want sleepytime tea raps.

East is crossing mainstream popularity :manny:

Madvillainy is full of those and that is considered a classic

How is this relevant to the current era of music?

It’s like you wanted to post what you view as a classic, using an exception (there’s exceptions to everyday in life), using an album from 2004.
:heh:

What is the point of mentioning an exception that was made over 20 year ago?
