I don't remember them showing them burning his own damn guts in front of him either.

Then again they didnt even wear kilts in that time period and it’s a Mel Gibson movie so don’t hold out hope for historical accuracy

I saw someone pointing out that Mel Gibson has to have dudes getting horrendously tortured or disemboweled in every movie.
