fly billions of miles to some backwater planet to build giant stone
pyramids.

The sort of technology this hypothetical alien race would possess
makes the "pyramid by aliens" theory completely fukking stupid.
If you can build a machine that handles space travel like that I would
imagine you could leave behind a much more impressive monument
one that would dwarf anything created by man thus far.

Give respect to Egyptians,Mayans, Aztecs, Chinese and anyone else
in the ancient world who constructed monuments thousands of years ago
that still stand to this day.

personally, I believe in the power of human ingenuity, and believe that humans, 24.7 devoted themselves to building these things for countless decades. if we, as humans now, decided to do the same thing about something else, chances are we could either a) figure out how they did it and b) create something similarly majestic

People gloss over the fact that we put a fukking robot on another planet. We sent a probe out 30 some odd years ago that has left the fukking solar system and is STILL sending back information. I'll say that again in case some of you need to re-read what I wrote: human beings sent a fukking probe, the first man made object to leave the solar system, that is STILL sending back signals. We had ancient Egyptians calculate the circumference to the earth with plus/minus 5% error tolerance using fukkING SHADOWS on the ground. We have a god damn space station floating around in orbit where people live for 6 months at a time. We have machines that allow us to communicate with sound and visuals by manipulating electricity on/off patterns. Newton calculated the gravitational constant in the 1600s.

Don't sell human beings short. I have NO doubt that Ancient Africans designed and built these things with human ingenuity and labor.

Not really...Stone was probably the most abundant resource and it undoubtedly stands the test of time...

Not saying that aliens built anything, but just because they didn't use some type of Cybertron technology doesn't dismiss it....

people are being purposefully ignorant when stating the pyramids were not made by humans...you have to accept the fact that the pyramids exist even if you dont know how or why...knowing that you would have to admit it is probable that the inhabitants of ancient egypt constructed the pyramids...the step pyramid [a series of mastabas] is the progenitor to the great pyramids...the great pyramids are a result of innovative building...not knowing how the great pyramids were built aint evidence that the ancient egyptians didnt build them and damn sho aint evidence that aliens did...

more durable and long lasting than stone, material that won't weather
or crack over time from the natural processes that take place on earth.

fuels, it doesn't even begin to fit what such a race would be capable of

Actually, its not insulting. I'm just using a little common sense.

I think people love to over complicate things for the sake of impressing others when in reality, its the simplest explanation that's always the right one.

First, its silly to try to understand why an alien civilization would do anything. There is no reason to speculate the unkown because it can't be proven so why try to lean to your own understanding when its obviously limited in this particular context....

And nano technology looks extremely promising, but where are the infrastructures that are currently in place using nano tech....??
