I'm wondering if Westbrook/Durant are even going to play that game. since Monday they're playing the Lakers in the first of a back to back. I don't think they'd want to miss out on playing Kobe one more time in their careers

“I’m here to play a game and win a game. I’m not worried about that stuff,” Duncan told the Los Angeles Times after Friday’s 119-113 Spurs win over the Lakers in Bryant’s last regular season game against San Antonio. “He’s a great competitor over the years, but this wasn’t about him. It was about us trying to get back on track.”

But when asked once again whether he felt sad that he would never again share the court with Bryant, Duncan responded, “No,” and raised an eyebrow when reporters still appeared befuddled.

“Why is that a surprise?” Duncan continued. “No. We played for many years. It’s been great. We’re moving on.”
Tim dont give a fukk bout that shiet :hmm:

fukk yeah...People always praise Kobe for being a cold blooded assassin, but Timmy is just as ruthless as Kobe.

Props to him. This coming from a Suns fan who has seen both the Lakers and Spurs burry my squad for the past two decades.

Crazy how Steve Kerr is a link with the Bulls, Spurs, and Warriors triangle. 4 straight rings from 96-99 (3 with the Bulls then one with SA), a title as the coach with the Warriors, 72 wins a player, and 71 wins (as of now) as a coach with the Warriors

And either tying the record or being prevented from breaking it against his former team mates and coach. :wow:
