What if the best players in the NBA got together and formed like a super team?

Fairly new to NBA, but curious. What if the best 7-8 players in the league, James/Curry/Durant/Leonard/Davis/Westbrook/Harden etc, all got together and joined one "super-team", all agreed to take a pay cut so they could all be on the same team; they'd be invincible right? Like USA team good?

70 wins minimum each season, win the championship every year, no one would get near them.

Just wondering, what's stopping the best players getting together, taking a pay cut and joining one unstoppable team? :jbhmm:

It's not about how good each individual player is. It's about how well they fit together. So even if you put all superstars that aren't on the warriors together on a team they could probably still lose. Every time Lebron joins a team a star pf regresses. It's the same principle as building around a player. It doesn't make sense to put guys who have high usage on the same team and limit there effectiveness because they can't get the same amount of touches.
