On the 1st go around? You need to step out of your privilege and listen when everyone is telling you that getting a credit card off top is not an automatic thing.
for me? its not hard for 3/4 of the country![]()
were you going to explain how someone who successfully applied for and got a debit card, wouldn't qualify for a credit card?
or are you just gonna take that L![]()
would i be correct in saying that as the holder of a debit card, you have successfully applied for a credit card in the past?
im not sure why this thread was made, but i win the thread if you have![]()
you're right, the 70 percent of americans who qualify for a discover card are clearly all exceptional peopleOn the 1st go around? You need to step out of your privilege and listen when everyone is telling you that getting a credit card off top is not an automatic thing.
i didnt SAY you cant get deniedEnd this thread. He not even asking the same question. He went from moving goalposts to going to a different stadium. Yeah. Like everyone has told you, you can apply for a debit card and still get denied a credit card. It's not automatic. Again, it's not the same thing.
i said most people dont

except im right by default, because 70 percent is the majority of peopleThe entertaining part is he won't even admit that he was wrong, doesn't understand or was just flat out confused.
The purpose of this thread is to make fun of the individual who:
1. Thinks that as long as you're breathing and alive its super easy for ANYONE to get a credit card - credit worthiness be damn.
2. He then attempted to back up the above with the concept that if a person has a debit card, surely they can get a credit card - again credit worthiness be damn.
Me thinks that @the cac mamba is confused by the Visa/Mastercard logo on his debit card.![]()

did i really have to put "most of the time" in that post to make it clear to you?Just bow out, man.

the only reason you would be denied a debit card is if you're ineligible for a bank account in the first place.
I understand what dude was trying to argue, but comparing a debit card to opening a credit line is silly as fukk. It's like claiming that opening a gmail account is the same as applying for a credit card.
with multiple pieces of ID to prove my address and where I live at...Which would then go back to my original statement that got us in this conversation in the first place, 78% of Americans are living pay check to pay check - so for you to be mind blown that people are using their debit card instead of a credit card which is likely to be close to or maxed out - is stupid.except im right by default, because 70 percent is the majority of people![]()
can you make up your mindIn your reality, everyone should just have a credit card to make all of their purchases on so that they don't have to worry about pesky identity theft affecting their bank account. The problem with that logic, is many Americans are not in the financial situation to do so.
can people not get credit cards, or are they maxed out?oh yeah, heres direct evidence of that. you're wrong againone of your latest doozies is that property taxes are going to take off but either don't realize they're based on the assessed value of the property or uhh think it will be increasing in this economy

I know someone that fukked his account up so bad that most banks wont open an account for him, but that's just one person in a rare situation.I wouldnt know, I've always had a bank account...with multiple pieces of ID to prove my address and where I live at...
oh yeah, heres direct evidence of that. you're wrong again
