i think dude will end up getting the whole 6 mill. She said herself that they buy together "sometimes". He can easily prove that he owns the ticket. Proving she owns half of it is gonna be a nightmare. I'm not sure the common-law thing is relevant cause i know that if he recieved inheritance, it she wouldn't be entitled to half. I think lottery winnings are treated the same way but it probably depends on the province. I live in Quebec so the concept of common law doesn't even exist here
