The reverse racism and racism on here is literally appalling at the highest level. we're never going to advance as a society as long as a good 70% of the people who post in this lobby procreate. #CutYourNutsOffSofty

To be honest Russell started playing well in the third quarter. There were some drops by the TE Willson and another by Baldwin. Russell Athletic balled the f*ck out from then on.

Russ confused the hell out of me Sunday. He went from looking concussed (which I believe was the case btw) to delivering a couple pinpoint passes down the stretch. Big-time player. Is he worth $115 mil to most teams? Probably not. But the Seahawks would be stupid to not pay the man that's about to be their QB for 2 championship runs in his first three seasons

The way the game ended has nothing to do with Baby Hair playing poorly and throwing 4 picks...

The key plays that changed the game...fake field goal...lynch touchdown run...recovered onside kick...had nothing to do with Baby Hair...

When the team was down and struggling and they put the pressure on baby hair to lead them...he folded like a 65 dollar suit from Dillards...

After the fake field goal and Lynch putting the team on his back baby hair didn't have to carry the load and...well...they came back and won the game...

Funny how that happened...the very second the team started relying on everyone BUT baby hair to make a big play...their fortunes turned around...
:what: so russell didn't throw the game winning touchdown pass? It's a damn playoff game its not easy. It is much easier to make a mistake as a quarterback than a running back. Lynch is an amazing running back, one of the greats but stop tryna belittle what Russell did

read the discussion man... the seahawks take their identity from their defense first... and marshawn second... russ is a great qb but hes not a who the seahawks hold up as their leader.
I should take the thread with the first page full of incorrect statements as fact? :heh: I read the whole thread

The statement "The seahawks identity has literally nothing to do with Russell Wilson" is completely asinine.

Yes, I agree their defense and Marshawn are a part of it.

Not a part of it... they are more of the teams identity than russell...

If you're trying to tell me that russell is at the heart of this teams idenitity... like Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck... then we completely disagree...

I feel like seahawks fans taking it as if im attacking wilson when hes a great player... but hes 1. young 2. not a vocal leader...

guys are always going identify more with leaders like ray lewis, sherman etc.. over young QB that has had less playing time then they have.

He may not be the heart and all that is up for debate but you said "literally nothing to do with the team's identity"

He is very much a part of the team's identity. It's not like there is some mandate that you have to single out and prop up one guy as the irrefutable leader of the team. The Seahawks are a balanced ass team. The identity relies on all of their parts from Russ to Sherman to Lynch to Kam to Baldwin to Pete and more.

U discredited the hell out of breh with that statement. And how would you know he's not a vocal leader? :wtf: u not out there on the field

If you wanna really get into it.. ok yeah all 52 players are part of the teams identity... is that really what were arguing?

He said that Wilson was as much as responsible for the team's idenity as sherman or Marshawn Lynch... THAT statement is completely untrue... and deserves to be discredited.

So if you take my words literally... ok yeah definitely im wrong... obviously every player makes up a teams identity...

But my point is that russell is not as much of the teams identity as sherman or lynch.

ALL of that said... as the quarterback hes still likely the MOST valuable and important player on the team... so thats what matters more... he should get paid...

But if were talkign about team identity (which is really a stupid thing for us to be arguing this much lol)... nah he is not equal to the LOB or lynch for this seahawks squad.
